No doubt, Asake owned 2022! Asake, also known as Ololade Mr. Money has added a fresh feat to his never-ending list of achievements. Recall that Asake was recently spotted with singer, Burna Boy’s ex, Stefflon Don in a Ghana club. The YBNL singer’s album, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibes’ became the highest-charting debut Nigerian album of all time on Billboard in 2022.

This was confirmed in an update by music chart data on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter. The album was released in the latter part of 2022. It made sure to accommodate the top 1- 10 songs on Apple music in its week of release. This only adds to Asake’s already smooth record in the industry.

Ace Nigerian Fuji-street rapper, Asake pays tribute to the innocent lives that were lost during his UK concert. Recall that it was earlier reported that Asake’s London show had to be interrupted due to a security breach. According to reports, some fans without tickets tried to force their way into the o2 Brixton.

Security lost control of the situation, which resulted in teh death of 2 concertgoers; a mother-of-2 identified as Rebecca Ikulomo and 23-year-old Briton, Gabrielle Hutchinson. Last night, while Asake was headlining the Flytime concert in Lagos, he stopped his show to pay tribute to the 2 lives that were lost during the stampede.
